From Chinese Graphic Design of the Twentieth Century by Scott Minick and Jiao Ping. A new softcover edition of the book is now available. January 1937 cover for the Ark magazine, The Ark Press, Mid-China Printing Company, Tiajin. Tremendous changes were sweeping over China and the influence of Russian avant-guard design graphic was influencing Chinese designers as well as European designers.
